Congratulations to Cassidy Formaniuk, winner of the 2022 Sunova Scholarship!

We are thrilled to announce that Cassidy Formaniuk, member of our Stonewall branch, has won the 2022 Sunova Scholarship. The prize? A whopping $7500 to be used towards Cassidy’s post-secondary education.

It’s never easy choosing the winner for the Sunova Scholarship, and this year was no exception with so many deserving candidates in the running. It was Cassidy’s long list of community volunteer experiences that stood out to the committee, including Stony Mountain Elementary, Siloam Mission, and Special Olympics.

We were equally impressed with Cassidy’s essay as well as her drive and determination to study linguistics and speech-language pathology. Her intense ambition and passion for her education are truly inspiring and we wish Cassidy all the best as she completes her Advanced Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba.
