FORE! The Sunova Golf Classic is one of our favourite events of the whole year! It’s hands-down the most fun golf tournament around.
We donate all proceeds from the Sunova Golf Classic annually to an organization or charity that aligns with Sunova’s community investment strategy. Are you interested in having the Sunova Golf Classic funding support your community organization, initiative, or charity of choice? Great! We accept applications for funding from February 1 to March 1 every year.
The application form and other details will be available below beginning February 1.
To help you prepare, here is a brief summary of what the application process entails:
- Applicants need to fill out a funding application. We promise it won’t be difficult or too much work! We’re just looking for a bit more information so we can better understand your project and what sort of recognition Sunova will receive. Please note, you need to submit an application online. We don’t accept paper applications.
- Applicants will also need to send us a five-minute video explaining their project and funding needs. Should your project advance to the final round of voting, we will post your video on our voting website. You’ll then have the chance to solicit votes!
- Voting on the finalist videos will be open to the public. The organization who’s video has the most votes at the end of the voting period is the winner and will receive funding from the Sunova Golf Classic in June!
We’ve tabulated the votes and are thrilled to announce that the Pinawa Golf and Country Club will receive the proceeds from the 2017 Sunova Golf Classic (you’re officially getting a new roof guys)! The application for the 2018 Sunova Golf Classic funding will open February 1, 2018.
