We’re Merging July 1: Here’s What You Need to Know

Sunova Credit Union, Noventis Credit Union, and Access Credit Union officially merge on July 1 to become the new Access Credit Union.  

Things won’t change overnight. As we work towards banking system integrations, this is what members can expect come July 1: 

• A member of any of the legacy credit unions will be able to conduct most of their banking at any of our 52 branches. 
• Day-to-day and online banking will remain the same for all members. 

• Existing cheques, debit cards, pre-authorized payments, investments, loans, mortgages, and member numbers will not change.  
• As little disruption to member experience as possible.  

What is the official amalgamation timeline?  

July 1 – Business as usual for day-to-day and online banking. All members can bank safely and securely at any one of our 52 branches. All branches are closed for the Canada Day holiday.  

Fall 2022 – New account packages will be available for all members.  

November 2022 – Noventis banking system integration occurs.  

Q3 2023 – Sunova banking system integration occurs.
