Positive COVID-19 case at St. Mary’s branch
April 16, 2021
We would like to share that one of our Sunova St. Mary’s branch employees has tested positive for COVID-19. Our thoughts are with the staff member and we wish them the very best for a quick recovery.
Upon learning of the positive diagnosis on Friday, April 16, our St. Mary’s branch closed immediately and will undergo a deep cleaning and sanitization overnight. We plan to open again on Saturday, April 17, but will await guidance from Public Health.
Help HQ, our contact centre, is available by phone, email, or online chat seven days a week to assist with anything you may need during this time.
We are diligently following guidelines and protocols for sanitizing the branch, and all those who had direct contact with the affected employee will be contacted by public health officials for further guidance regarding self-isolation.
In addition to the increased safety precautions we have already implemented, including plexiglass shields, enhanced cleaning, mandatory masks for both staff and members, and physical distancing, we will continue to follow the updates from Manitoba Health and adjust as needed to ensure we’re doing all we can to protect the health of our staff and members.
We will update here if anything changes.
