Community Support Sunova Credit Union makes a splash with $20,535 donation to the Stonewall Kinsmen Splash Pad project

Sunova Credit Union is making a big splash in the Stonewall Kinsmen Splash Pad Project fundraising efforts with a donation of $20,535. The funds are the proceeds from the 13th annual Sunova Golf Classic, which took place on June 8.
“We’re thrilled to be able to support such a fun and important project,” said Sunova Credit Union President and CEO Ed Bergen. “This accessible splash pad will allow people from Stonewall and surrounding areas of all abilities the chance to cool off in the summer.”
“We are looking forward to bringing the splash pad to our community and this donation get us that much closer to our goal,” said Chris Luellman, chair of the Stonewall Kinsmen splash pad project. “We plan to start construction this fall.”

Over the past 13 years, the Sunova has donated over $240,000 to local charities through the Sunova Golf Classic. This tournament and the amazing donation wouldn’t be possible with out the support of our major sponsors: the Khinda Team and Valeyo.
The 14th annual Sunova Golf Classic will be held June 14, 2019 at the Granite Hills Golf Course.
